Camden runs his hands through his hair frustratingly as they take Athena into surgery.

Willow follows the other doctors into the OR and they don't question it.

1, because her brother in law is Camden tames. And 2, because they know she's a doctor.

Halston is sitting next to her phone, hoping they'll call and tell her Athena and the baby are okay.

Francis and Sebastian aren't sure what to do but they're worried as well.

Tyler's stressed out and he feels badly about what his brother and sister in law are going through.

Alexia, unaware of what's going on, is watching a movie with her husband when she gets the call.

"Hello?" She answers.

"Lex, it's Cam. Athena, she-" the sentence breaks off and Alexia sits up, now worried.

"Cam, what's going on?" She asks, concerned and confused.

"Athena, she started bleeding. She might lose the baby." She'd never heard her oldest brother cry, until now.

"Camden, I'm so sorry." She apologizes feeling her heart drop.

"I might lose them both." All she can hear is his heavy breathing and his silent sobs every once in a while.

"I'm on my way." Is all she says before hanging up.

"What's going on?" Mason asks her as she grabs her shoes and runs to the door.

"Athena's bleeding and she might lose the baby. She could die too. I need to go." She explains quickly.

Mason nods. "Be careful." Is all he tells her, afraid of her driving and then crashing since she's stressed

She just nods and leaves the house.

Camden is sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall with his knees in front of him and his head rested on his knees while his hands are folded together in front of him.

His hair is a mess and he took off his suit jacket and tie, only leaving his ruffled white shirt and black pants.

Alexia sits down next to him. "Cam." She says and he looks up at her.

"Lex." Is all he's able to say.

She hugs him, holding him tightly and hoping that he won't lose the one person he loves the most.

Hoping he won't lose the love of his life and his unborn child.

In the OR Willow is watching over everything, not doing much because it's been a while since she's done surgery.

In order to stay calm she has to push away all the facts of what's happening and just focus on keeping her patient alive.

Patient. Not Athena. Saying it's her makes it real. It's just a patient.

Athena starts flatlining.

It's taking everything in her to not cry, not to freak out and full on panic.

Her eyes dart back and fourth between the baby's heartbeat and Athena's heartbeat.

If it comes down to it, how will she be able to chose between her best friend and her best friends child?

She'll always chose Athena.

After a few times of shocking her she still doesn't have a heartbeat.

They start putting away the machine.

"What the hell are you doing?" Willow yells, scaring them slightly.

"There's nothing we can do for her." One of the doctors says.

"Yes there is! Try again." She yells.

"Mrs. Kline Tames-" someone says but she interrupts him.

"Do you want to be the people responsible for the death of Athena Rose Tames? The death of Camden Tames wife?" She threatens and they all pale.

"Then try again." She says more calmly but they still don't move.

"Try again!" She screams and they all start moving.

It's been hours and Camden, Alexia, and Everett jump to their feet when they see Willow walk out.

"She's alive." Willow tells them and they all feel relieved.

"And the baby?" Camden asks, afraid.

None of them have ever seen him afraid before.

"The baby is stable for now but it's unlikely he will make it." She says sadly.

Camden feels something inside of him snap.

"Camden." Willow says, getting his attention.

"It is unlikely, but it's not impossible. She could carry to term and the baby could be just fine. We just need to make sure she doesn't go through much stress and that she's on strict bed rest." She tells him, making him hopeful again.

"Can I see her?" Camden asks and Willow nods.

My eyes slowly open and I already know I'm in a hospital from the beeping machines.

Camden is holding my hand and he smiles when he sees me.

"Hey baby, how do you feel?" He asks gently, not letting go of my hand.

"The baby?" I ask him, starting to panic.

"The baby is stable." He tells me and I close my eyes, relieved.

"But, it's unlikely he'll make it. Willow says it's unlikely but not impossible. He could be just fine. She said that you need to stay away from stress and you need to be on strict bed rest." He explains.

I feel my heart drop but I feel slightly better knowing he might be okay as long as I stay away from stress.

He hugs me and it's a long hug.

It's a hug that's like he was afraid he'd never be able to hug me again.

"I love you so much, Athena." He whispers.

"I love you so much, Camden." I whisper back, pulling away from the hug so I can kiss him.

Willow runs in the room and her entire face lights up when she sees me.

"Athena!" She cry's and throws her arms around me.

"Thank you so much for everything, Willow." I thank her.

"Don't thank me. I'd do it all again and more. I love you Athena, you're my soulmate." She smiles.

"What about me?" Everett asks, faking being offended.

"You're the love of my life, but Athena is my soulmate. Ever heard of the word platonic?" Willow deadpans.

"Hoes before bros." I tell her and she smirks. "Exactly."

"Could I get some water?" I ask after a minute.

Camden hands me a glass and I take a drink, starting to feel a little better.

"Everyone was so worried, Thena." Everett tells me. "We're all so glad you're okay. And the baby."

I smile at my brother in law. "I'm glad too. I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure he stays okay." I say, more to myself.

I'll lay in bed for the rest of this pregnancy if that's what needs to happen for my son to live.

I remember something and look at Willow.

"Where's Halston? How is she? She was probably so scared. I need a hug from her. Can you bring her here?" I bombard her with questions.

"Halston is at home and she's fine. Yes she was scared but she knows you both are okay now. Yes, we can bring her here."

After some time Halston walks in the room and I put my arms out so she can walk over to the bed and hug me.

I hug her tightly and she hugs me tightly while I brush my fingers through her hair.

"I was so scared." She whispers.

"I know hunny, I was too. Everything's gonna be fine though." I assure her.

I scoot over and pat the spot next to me.

She lays on the bed next to me and I put one of my arms over her while she pulls the blanket over us because it's kinda cold in here.

I'm really tired but somehow Halston falls asleep before me.

I start to fall asleep and I can hear Camden whispering.

"My girls." He whispers and it warms my heart.

We both love Halston so much and I'm glad she gets to live with us and I'm glad I get to help raise her.

I feel Camden kiss my cheek and then grab my hand again, resting his head on it.

It doesn't take me long to fall asleep.
