I WAS AWOKEN by the current pounding in my head, instantly making me groan in annoyance. I opened my eyes slightly only to see my reflection that sat on the floor length mirror opposite my bed. Once I saw my current appearance this dreadful morning, I groaned once again.

What the fuck happened last night?

Don't get me wrong, I like a drink. Usually at parties I have a few of beers, maybe a couple of shots if Evie can convince me, but I never go overboard.

As I think back to last night, I recall the conversation that I had with Evie as we were getting ready for the party.

*flash back*

"Evie, sweetie, why do I look like a fucking stripper?" I asked Evie as I took a glance in the mirror at the outfit she made me try on.

Cat woman. Huh.

"Don't be so silly! Strippers wear way less clothing than that!" She expressed to me, raising her thick eyebrows at me whilst her eyes widen.

I rolled my eyes at her as I muttered 'yeah because that makes me feel better'.

"Oh come one! Alex, you look sexy as fuck! I'm telling you now babes, if I wasn't straight, I'd so fuck you," she said so casually with a shrug of her shoulders as if it was a normal conversation. "Like, my best friend's hot! Go best friend!" She cheered around her room with a wide smile gracing her pink tinted lips.

"Stop Evie, you're making me blush!" I sarcastically told her as I fanned myself. We were both giggling loudly until she turned to me with a serious expression.

"What?" I asked her slowly, not knowing what was to come of our next conversation.

"We need to talk about your 'boyfriend'". She told me with an excited yet serious expression on her face.

"Wha-what about him?" I stuttered over my words as I learned that the topic of our next conversation was about Sebastian Kingsley.

"I'm just going to come right out and say it okay? Quick like a cat, no wait- is it a cheetah? Oh for fucks sake, I've never been good at these sayings, I-" I cut Evie off from her rambling and got her to say what she wanted.

"I think Sebastian might like you." She told me quietly, a small smile begging to be shown on her pale face.

"I mean I don't think I'd use the word 'like' for our relationship, but I guess a 'mutual bond' seems more fitting."
I suggested to Evie with a small laugh as I thought about the situation between Sebastian and I.

"No, Alex. I mean, I think he had feelings for you." She once again told me, more adamant to get her point across.

"Oh yeah, I'm sure Sebastian has a lot of feelings for me! First of all, our mutual dislike, aha that's feeling number one. Feeling number two is most probably annoyance becau-" I was cut off from my speech as Evie practically yelled in my face.

"No! I think Sebastian has genuine feelings for you, Alexandra Black! I think he has romantic feelings for you, like love kind of feelings for you! What I'm trying to say is, I think he like likes you! Do you understand now?" Evie began breathing very heavily beside me as she caught her breath after her small rant.

I was rendered speechless. Nothing came to mind. No words could be formed in my mouth after hearing this new piece of information. My mouth gaped like a fish, which only made Evie's smile even bigger.

"H-how do you know? Did Nicolas tell you? Wait! Did he tell you?" I interrogated Evie with a bunch of questions that were flowing through my mind at this moment.

"God no! Sebastian doesn't talk to anyone about his feelings apart from Nicolas, but he wouldn't even tell me anything even if I offered him a blowjob because of fucking 'bro code'!" Evie huffed in frustration, flopping down onto her bed.

"Well, why do you think he like likes me?!?" I practically screamed at her, standing out of the chair I was sitting on and moving my hands around in exasperation.

"Because of the way he looks at you, Al! And I can guarantee you, that the whole time that you went out with Jackson the jackass, he never looked at you the way Sebastian does. Not once. And I'm sorry to tell you this because it feels utterly horrible, but what you and Jackson had wasn't love, and I know that you know that now. And I also know that you're scared to open up your again because you don't want to get hurt. But do you really think that Sebastian would ever hurt you the way he did? Because I don't, he's not that kind of guy. He may be an asshole to everyone including you, but he does it because he loves the banter you both have. You guys have a really strong connection, do you feel it? Because I can see it, Alex. And a connection that strong needs to be seen by others."

Evie finished off her long ass speech with her hand on my shoulder, her eyes boring into mine for any kind of answer. But the only answer she could get out of me was,

"I need a drink."

* Present *

I was snapped back to reality when a soft snore was heard from beside me. I whipped my head around to see who was sleeping beside me, when I saw a familiar head of chestnut brown curly locks sprawled over the pillows. His mouth was hung open with slight drool coming out of it.

Well that's attractive.

Confusion crossed my features as I thought back to last night once again. How is he in bed?

He must of felt my stare on his carefully sculpted face because his eyes fluttered open to reveal those beautiful ocean blue eyes that I've come to adore.

"What the fuck is going on?" Sebastian mumbled into the pillow, nuzzling his face deeper into the comforts that surrounded him.

"Funny, that's the same question I asked myself." I giggled quietly at him as his head leaps off of the pillow and looked at me with wide eyes.

"Wha-what? Did, uh, did we, you know, fuck each other?" He stumbled over his words, looking around my room frantically.

"Get your head out of the gutter, Sebastian. You know I'm not that kind of girl, and even if I was, I wouldn't want my first time to be with you." I told him sternly as I rolled my eyes at him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked me with furrowed brows, looking the slightest bit offended. I sat up in my bed, leaning my top half of my body on my bed frame. I crossed my arms over my hoodie clad body, looking towards Sebastian who sat next to me in a similar position.

"Well, this might sound stupid to you since you lost your virginity when you were like 14, but I want to lose it to someone I love. Not just some random hook up from a party, or someone I've just started dating. I'd like it to be meaningful and sweet, but also in the spur of the moment kind of thing, you know? I want to be in love, not in lust. It sounds stupid I know but I-" I was cut off my Sebastian gently grabbing my hand and giving me a reassuring squeeze. "It's not stupid Black. Don't think that. I wish I waited for someone better. You deserve that you know? Love. You deserve someone that'll love you for the rest of your life. I want that for you, even if I don't always act like it." Sebastian spike so softly that I almost gave him a hug. His eyes were downcast the entire time, avoiding eye contact with me.

"Thank you. I hope you find it too someday." I told him sincerely, meaning every word. He nodded at me, finally bringing his eyes to look into mine. We lapsed into a comfortable silence until my phone dinged, meaning I had an incoming notification. I broke our gaze and picked up my phone, seeing a text message from Evie.

Hey bitch! We're going shopping, so get up and get your fine ass dressed because we need to get new outfits for Paris!

Me
I'll be there soon, my love๐Ÿ˜˜

"Evie and I are going shopping so I have to get ready. Apparently we're getting new outfits for Paris, I didn't know they were coming with us?" I turned my attention back to Sebastian only to see him already looking at me.

"Oh shit, I didn't tell you? I invited Evelyn and Nic to come along with us, is that okay?"

"Of course that's okay! The core four are going to one of the most romantic cities in the world! I'm so excited!" I gushed at Sebastian, bouncing on my bed I'm excitement. Sebastian grinned at me, his dimples making an appearance as he bit his lip to stop smiling so much, but alas he failed.

"The core four?" He questioned my choice of words with a small chuckle. My face grew red in embarrassment at what I just said.

"You remember that was our group nickname? And we were double trouble?" I asked him quietly, not knowing if he would remember this particular moment from our childhood.

"Of course I remember, Lexi. How could I forget?" He mumbled to me quietly.

"I better go and get ready before Evie starts screaming at me to get ready." I chuckled nervously as I slipped off the bed and towards my en suite bathroom, turning around to face Sebastian once more.

"You're welcome to stay and hang out with Lucas and Natalia when I leave if you want, or you could leave, it's not an issue." I told him politely, not wanting to seem like I'm kicking him out.

"Do you want me to stay, Black?" He asked me quietly with a single brow raised at me.

"Honestly? No, because I don't want to risk you sneaking into my bedroom and looking through my underwear drawers." I told him with a giggle. He threw his head back in amusement, his beautiful laugh filling the air that surrounds us.

"Alright, I'll leave. See you later, sweetheart." Sebastian told me with a parting wink as he left my bedroom.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as I leaned on the doorframe, looking at the door he walked through whilst biting my lip.

Paris will be fun, huh?

I know I know, it's a short and shitty chapter!

But, the trip to Paris is coming very soon so I hope you're all excited!
